Privacy Policy — Cap of Crowns

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you play Cap of Crowns ("the Game"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect the minimum information needed to operate the Game:

• Device-derived identifier. A stable identifier so your account follows your install across sessions.
• In-game data. Your in-game username, kingdom, alliance membership, buildings, troops, items, chat messages, and gameplay progress.
• Account linking (optional). If you choose to link a Google account, we store the associated email address so you can recover your account on a new device.
• Purchase records. If you make an in-app purchase, we receive the transaction ID, product ID, and validation receipt from Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
• Diagnostic data. Crash reports, error logs, and gameplay events used to fix bugs and tune game balance.

2. How we use this information

• Operate, authenticate, and synchronize your account.
• Provide multiplayer features (alliances, chat, world map, combat).
• Validate in-app purchases and prevent fraud.
• Diagnose crashes and improve game balance.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not display third-party advertising.

3. Third parties

We use the following service providers to operate the Game:

• Google Play Billing — processes in-app purchases.
• Google Play Services — optional Google account sign-in for cross-device recovery.
• Sentry — collects crash reports and error diagnostics used to fix bugs.
• Our own game servers (hosted on infrastructure managed by MonPlon Games) — store the game state described above, including aggregate gameplay events used to tune game balance.

These providers are bound by their own privacy terms and only receive the data necessary to perform their function.

4. Data retention and deletion

You can request account deletion at any time from Settings → Other → Delete Account inside the Game. Deletion runs after a 14-day grace period; signing back in within that window restores your account. After the grace period, your account and associated game data are permanently deleted from our servers.

5. Children

Cap of Crowns is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

6. Security

We use industry-standard transport encryption (TLS) for all client-server traffic and store account data in access-controlled databases. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective date" at the top of the document will reflect the most recent change. Continued use of the Game after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
